Russian Centre of Science And Culture
Since its foundation in 1974, the Cultureal Centre of Russia or the Gorky Sadan has led a unique cultural movement in eastern India for the last three decades, aimed at the promotion and popular understanding of mutually beneficial friendship between two countries. Its activities have extended beyond the usual foreign mission's cultural centre routine of library service and language classes to round-table discussions, seminars, study sessions, workshops, film sessions, popular lectures and open discussions devoted to particular thoughts, trends, movements and problems covering a wide range of subjects.
